Why is Counteract Paint Sealant superior in performance and shine to everyday car polish?

Most car polishes are only wax type coating that sit on top of the paint and only have a short life expectancy. CounterAct Paint Sealant is a chemical that bonds to the paint molecules below the surface and then forms a rock hard coating on top to protect the surface.

No - If the painted surface were in extremely poor condition, then a respray would be needed.

What if the paintwork is badly oxidized and faded, will CounterAct Paint Sealant help?

Yes - You would need to de-oxidize the paintwork with CounterAct T-2000 Pre-Treatment and then apply CounterAct Paint Sealant. This will bring the painted surface back to the "as new" look.

Do you need to use CounterAct Pre Treatment on a new car before you paint seal it?

NO - a new cars paintwork will not be oxidized, all you need to do is remove any wax coating with a de-waxer such as Prepsol. Once clean of wax, apply Counteract Paint Sealant for long lasting shine.

Are all PTFE Paint Sealant products the same?

YES - Basically all PTFE (Teflon) Protective Coatings are the same. There are slighty different additives with different brands. The main thing to avoid is sealants containing silicone.

Will CounterAct Paint Sealant completely protect the painted surface of my vehicle against such things as acidic bat droppings?

YES - As long as you wash off soiled areas as soon as possible, (e.g: If it occurred during the night, remove it the next morning) the paintwork will remain unblemished. If left untouched, the acid in the droppings will eat through anything!
